Combining years of classroom experience and private research, the Davis’ have developed their own dance syllabi. While traditional standards and technique are the underlying foundation of these programs, they have developed new, up-to-date teaching methods aimed at inspiring today’s child. After completing an intensive training program, teachers at KICKS are qualified to present this creative, challenging and age appropriate material. By having all instructors follow the same syllabi, they can ensure progress from one year to the next and consistency between teachers. Husband and wife team, John & Kristin Davis, together have over two decades of teaching experience. In addition to instruction at studios, churches and area schools, they have traveled to Germany twice to teach both tap and jazz workshops. In 1992, they decided to extend their love for the art by opening KICKS. Blending their experience with preschool education and a lifetime of dance training, they bring many levels of knowledge and experience to their students. Members of International Teachers of Dance, Inc., they continue their education by attending professional seminars and master classes throughout the U.S. Office Staff Cheryl Sigler Administrative Director
